AquaVage – The Ultimate in Fat Harvesting and Fat Grafting

A new device called AquaVage will make fat grafting easier. Fat grafting has become a common procedure in plastic surgery, and now a new device called AquaVage has FDA clearance to make it easier for doctors.

Fat grafting lets a surgeon transfer fat from one part of a patient’s body to another area that needs contouring or added volume. The procedure can be used on various areas of the body, including the face and breasts.

The fat is usually extracted using a liposuction technique; however, fat cells can be damaged in the process. AquaVage is a disposable device that allows the surgeon to perform this procedure more quickly and at a high volume, without the machine clogging or causing loss of viable fat tissue.
